AMARU is a residence where you will be able to share with other students the daily life as in family.
We want you to know that we have two places you can choose to live in.
One is a Student House" AMARU 1" and the other is a "Shared Apartment" called "AMARU 2" The rooms are different size and both of them are in the the best areas in Lima, that are very secure, and with a lot of facilities for you.
Our Residence "AMARU 1" in San Isidro has space for 9 persons. There are Small , Standard and Large Bedroom.
Amaru's house has a nice room where all gather to watch tv and movies, a large dining room where you will share different moments, a terrace to enjoy the sun, also to have some conversation with friends, to have some beers and to be outdoors. On the third floor there is a BBQ where you can enjoy and prepare delicious food.
AMARU 2 is a very spacious apartment. It has 3 large rooms that can be adapted as needed to be single, double or triple as required. The apartment has also a small room with bathroom. The rooms have large closets and everything you might need for your comfort and for your studies. It has a large room attached to the dining room where you can spend moments of socialization, see films, watch TV and have great conversations. The kitchen is very nice and big, where there is all you need for preparing a great meal and also you have a laundry.
The apartment is located in Miraflores, the district where you can find the best restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, disco and theaters. If you walk 6 blocks from AMARU 2 you will arrive to Kennedy's Park which is located in the heart of Miraflores. From AMARU 2 you will have access to all means of transport that will lead you directly to Peru's major universities and institutes.
What do both residences have in common?
They are located in the most safety neighborhoods of Lima, so you can feel calm and free to walk anytime without worries. This is very important you have to think about it!
Both are very close to important avenues where you will find all types of transportation.
They are located two blocks from Super Markets where you can buy your food and whatever you need.
They are very close to drugstores, post office, money exchange and banks.
Both are very close to meeting centers like discos, pubs and restaurants.
Living in any of both Amaru´s - AMARU 1 or AMARU 2 - you will have discounts at Nightclubs, Gyms, Paragliding, Spanish Classes, Salsa Classes and Bike Tours .Very soon we will have for you other discounts news and different activities.
What else could you ask for?
AMARU’S team will help you establish in Peru as the same as many more young students, volunteers and trainees who come from interchange to the principal Universities of Lima or to occupy working places of any nature.
In AMARU`S residence you are going to find a different way of living, you will learn Spanish in a chance form and you will be very amuse because we form a special group that does not limit itself to coexist but also we make many different plans like trips to the interior of the country, visits to museums, trekks to the ruins, theatres and many other activities you would like very much and that you will have great fun.
